La Rioja is the most famous wine region in Spain. You will be impressed by the quality of different kinds of wine produced in this historical region. Besides the miles of vineyards belonging to over 500 wineries there is also much history and natural beauty. We will visit charming walled town of Laguardia, home of wine cellars that have been used for centuries.
We will visit the famous wineries, old cellars, or small private wineries, take part in wine tasting.

I will introduce you to the modern wineries such as Ysios or Marques de Riscal in Elciego. This amazing building of Marques de Riscal winery was designed by Frank Gehry, the architect of famous Guggenheim museum in Bilbao.
